Cornish households can switch and save this autumn

Cornwall’s collective energy switch has just secured its latest round of winning tariffs. British Gas have outbid everyone else with an exclusive special tariff costing just £825 a year at medium usage.

Support for Stroke Survivors

Our postmen and women have raised over £400,000 for the Stroke Association and Royal Mail is matching this so the fund totals £800,000 to help people who have had a stroke.

You can apply for a grant if you are a stroke survivor. Spread the word. Details are on the poster.

Visitors to Parliament

Boskenwyn, Sithney, Garras, Germoe and Crowan Primary School came to Parliament today.

Verdict: well behaved, full of fun, really keen to learn and very cool teaching staff. Lovely orange caps!

Sunday's Remembrance Day commemorations were, once again, a powerful reminder of the bravery and sacrifice of many men and women who lost their lives so that we can live in peace.

Farming Crisis

The plight of British farming is well documented and I share grave concern about what the industry will look like in West Cornwall in the future if something quite radical is not done very soon to ensure farmers get paid fairly.
