Chancellor announces Government support for the self-employed

The Chancellor has announced details of a scheme to support the UK’s self-employed affected by the coronavirus outbreak.

Those self-employed will receive a direct cash grant of 80% of their profits, up to £2,500 per month for at least three months to protect them and their business.
