This month's speaker will be Abby Crosby, a Marine Conservation Officer at Cornwall Wildlife Trust.
Abby's work incudes leading projects within the Living Seas Team at CWT, such as the Marine Strandings Network, Seaquest Southwest, and the country’s partnership tackling marine disturbance – the Cornwall Marine and Coastal Code group.
She also founded and manages the Trust’s award winning Your Shore Network, a collection of local marine conservation groups in Cornwall who lead the way in empowering communities to take sustainable action for Cornwall’s coast and marine environment through skills development, research, community-driven initiatives and individual behaviour change.
Abby will be bringing her expertise to discuss the marine environment and climate change, as well as sharing some of the wider work the Cornwall Wildlife Trust are doing.
